Skills for Tomorrow
We aim to spread readily-available and accessible resources that touch upon skills necessary for college and the workforce, as we navigate through the ever-changing world of the fourth industrial revolution.
As our world continues to flourish in the progressing “Digital Age,” our society has changed. School has become a repetitive cycle of submitting assignments for the sake of maintaining a certain GPA. In an age of quiet quitting and analyzing outdated texts, Skills For Tomorrow is a project meant to address the unsustainable nature of our current education system. To show students that learning should not be viewed as a chore or as a means to a grade, but rather, as an opportunity.
I participated in the research team. We aimed to curate a list of easily-accessible learning resources for students, meant to orient them towards the world of the future and to endow them with skills necessary to keep up with the rapidly shifting nature of the career field. I participated in curating a resource list of easily-accessible classes that developed on necessary soft and hard skills for the healthcare pathway, as well as creating a guide for the pathway that laid out its fundamentals and prospects.
